OUR MISSION

Since 2016, Spin Inc. has provided music production and DJ technology education to underprivileged youth in high-poverty communities within Detroit and Highland Park. Music education is crucial for youth development as it not only provides them with the technical skills to create and perform music, but also teaches valuable life skills such as discipline, teamwork, creativity, and self-expression, which can have a positive impact on their personal and academic growth.

Our programs include digital music technology courses, mentoring opportunities, and instruction in life skills, entrepreneurship, and public performance coaching. This assists students in achieving their musical goals, learning new skills on state-of-the-art equipment, and showcasing their talents in musical venues throughout Detroit. We provide students with the necessary computers and equipment to learn the art of DJing and digital music production.
